The ceremony will begin at 15h00 at the Monate Game Lodge’s outdoor Rock Fig Tree.

The Reception

The reception will commence at 17h30 at Monate Game Lodge’s outdoor Bush Boma.

FAQs

  • The dress code for the wedding is semi-formal with terracotta and warm, earthy tones. Make sure to bring a jacket as the wedding is in the South African winter and outdoors!

  • The wedding ceremony will be performed in English.

  • The greatest gift to us both is that you can be present at our wedding. If you would like to contribute to our new married life, we will have a wishing well on the day.

  • Children are absolutely welcome!

  • Yes, your allergies and dietary restriction can be accommodated. Please be sure to add your allergies and/or dietary requirements when your RSVP and we will forward them to the venue and catering staff.

  • Unfortunately, due to the remote location of the wedding and wifi capabilities - a live virtual option will not be available. If you would like to be sent a video of the ceremony after it’s complete, please email us to join our WhatsApp group.

  • We recommend you stay onsite at Monate Game Lodge. Rebecca and Reinhardt have a block of rooms available to book during the time they are at the lodge (July 15-20, 2024).

  • Yes - the venue is wheelchair-accessible.

  • Absolutely. Rebecca and Reinhardt will be at Monate Game Lodge from the 15th of July to the 20th of July. They would love nothing more than for their families to gather and spend time getting to know each other. Monate Game Lodge has plenty of group activities that can be viewed here.

  • Rest assured - even though the wedding is fully outdoors - there will be heat lamps and bonfires running. Please do bring a jacket for the evening when the weather becomes nippy!
